ABOUT POWER TO CHANGE GUYANA
This media evangelistic campaign which will be in operation in October-November 2010 is a joint venture between "Great Commission Media Ministries" and the "Guyana Evangelical Fellowship."
The US Mission's Director for Great Commission Media Ministries, Rev. Dave Ogren has made two trips to Guyana for the year so far. The first meeting in late January of 2010 with the Guyana Evangelical Fellowship (GEF) saw the acceptance and ready commitment of the GEF to the campaign.
During the second visit in July 2010, a number of important issues relating to the success of the campaign were nailed down by the GEF. The stage is now set for the actual production work in respect to the testimonies, training of volunteers for the follow up of converts and work at the call center. Preparations are also under way for a massive advertisment campaign a few days prior to the actual event beginning on October 18, 2010.
Rev. Dave Ogren has contributed significantly to Power To Change Guyana (PTCG) in respect to initiating the campaign, raising financial support for the campaign as well as providing technical assistance and guidance along the way. His contribution is recognised and deeply appreciated by the GEF.
The GUYANA EVANGELICAL FELLOWSHIP which now holds full responsibility, has identified the following persons to serve in various capacities for the campaign.
